3. Client Data:

(or “Masaajids”) who register to use the Hibabox platform services to promote and add value to their fundraising missions. When a Masjid registers with us as a client to subscribe to our donation management platform, they need to supply or we can request personal information about their management, trustees and/or directors.

As per anti-money laundering (Know Your Customer) regulations, we are required by the law to carry out due diligence checks on the charity registered organisations, its directors and potentially board members. This can involve using the personal information given to us to carry out these checks. We also use third-party service providers, to carry out these checks for us. Our appointed vendors will only use the relevant information to carry out these checks that we have requested.

We will use this personal information to maintain our contact with the appropriate organisation and make our contractual obligations, including notifying the charity or any changes to the services and as part of our procedures to maintain the Site safe and secure.

4. Membership:

To become a member, you are obliged to provide us with the following details to create an account: Your name, email address, country, and password. Without providing at least this information, you will not be able to set up a Hibabox account. But by giving additional information you may receive more personalised services and your communication with Muslim networks within. Any information you provide will be used by Us as defined by Our and this Privacy Policy, and also to serve and communicate with you with more relevant updates by your chosen Masajids and their religious activities.

When choosing a secure password You should only choose a password that is known to you only. If a feature is available You may prefer to register on our Site using a valid social media login credentials, such as Facebook or Google. We may also collect personal information when an individual corresponds with us by phone, e-mail or contrarily. You confirm that such information provided is personal to you, and by creating your account on Hibabox, you allow others, including Us to identify you and to use your information as per Our If you are notifying of the eligibility for UK Gift Aid, you may also need to provide your UK domicile address as this information can be different from your billing address. We will preserve this essential information to make it easier and faster for you to donate to your chosen Masjids for the future. It's not in our policy to use account holder personal information for any other purposes no will sell Your personal information under any case.

You may subscribe with a masjid for marketing or communicating purposes and may have to use the Hibabox member services to become a member of that Masjid. When doing so and submitting a form to connect with the mosque, You will be granting permission to the Masjid to access below information. All are required (*) fields.

If You are also providing, besides your details, other people details when becoming a member (family or relative etc.), make sure that you have the permission to do so. All information that you will provide will be as per Our User Agreement and this Privacy Policy. This information will enable Us to provide Masjid management with personalised Services and other complementary services to users like communicating with the Masjid, its members, community forum, class registration, track donations and others.

6. Tracking Technologies and Cookies:

We use cookies and alike tracking technologies to track the activities on Our Service and store some information. Some of these tracking technologies used may include beacons, crawler, tags, and scripts to gather and track information and to analyse and enhance Our Service.

Subject to our discretion, violation of these guidelines may lead to the restriction, suspension or closing of your account.

If you close your Hibabox account, we will remove your details and personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable database. Note if you have exchanges emails or have shared other personal info with other Hibabox users through our communication or regional portal, they may not delete your info (e.g. deleting from their email inbox and your information can remain visible to others (and vice versa) even after you have closed your account. Hibabox disclaims any liability in relation to the deletion or preservation (subject to the terms herein) of information or any obligation not to remove the information.

11. Using the Hibabox website & applications:

We will receive information when you enter and browse Hibabox website, or Hibabox platform applications which may include Our Membership, Donation, and Event Management and the others.

For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase of user subscription of one of our services or hardware that You have purchased, or of any other contract with Us through the Service.

Our suppliers will only use individual account holder personal information when instructed by us, and to provide services on our behalf.

When a masjid (or “client”) enrolled with our platform for fundraising purposes and when a donor chooses to donate to the masjid, the masjid collects and use account holder personal information (and any other information) in accordance to their privacy policy.

In a case when any contents are distributed through Hibabox sharing features and third-party integrations, may result in displaying some of your information outside of Hibabox. For example, when You post content to a Hibabox forum page which, if open to the public, your content, including your name or user name as the contributor, may be revealed.

v. Other legal requirements:

The Company may reveal Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is needed to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation
  • Protect and defend the Company's rights and/or property.
  • Prevent or possibly investigate any wrongdoing in connection with our Service

When a masjid member or a walk in donor donates or pay for masjid pledge etc., to process the transaction, We collect data necessary to process your payment such as a credit card number and the security code associated with your payment instrument. The information shared with the payment merchant will only be used for the sake of payment and will not be stored for any other purpose. All payment data is stored by the payment processor and you should review its privacy policies and contact the payment processor directly to respond to your questions.

We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions.

when You share personal information or otherwise interact in the Hibabox forum with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside. If You interact with other users or register through a Third-Party Social Media Service, Your contacts on the Third-Party Social Media Service may see You name, profile, pictures and description of Your activity. Similarly, other users will be able to view descriptions of Your activity, communicate with You and view Your profile.

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices (local/offshore) and/or in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. When User login to account, we display member’s names who have recently joined the masjid group and may show recent status from the members and other updates.

17. Rights to access & rectification:

You have a right to access, change or delete data that you have supplied to Hibabox. If you update any of your information, we may still keep a copy of the original information in our archive that was provided to us for the uses as defined in this privacy policy. It will, however, be removed from our active database. You may request us to remove any of your information at any time by contacting Our customer service (upto 30 days to respond and action the request) or logging into your user account. Please note, that any information which has already been shared on Hibabox network or if you have disclosed your data to others then it may still be available to their possessors, even after deleting it. In such a case, you must reach out to each recipient and advise them of the rectification or completion of the personal data.

18. Advertisements & Testimonials:

If you provide a testimonial or a review about the Hibabox Services or place ads through the Hibabox Ads, we may post those testimonials and examples of advertisements you set in association with our promotion of these services to third parties. We may also display these testimonials onto our website for marketing reasons. Testimonials and advertisements may include your name, name of your masjid and/or any other personal information that you may have given.

You can opt-out of allowing your name and/or profile photo to be used in those social ads.

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we may use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect Your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Our third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.   • to provide you with insights and surveys etc. from your local and national Masjid network
  • to allow you to share information with your local masjid and regions AND/OR
  • to allow you to use Hibabox functionality off the Hibabox site and to serve you with related advertising. We shall advise You to examine the Privacy Policy of all sites that You visit. We have no control over these and therefore accept no liability for the content, privacy policies or procedures of any such third party sites or its associated services.
